Plymouth Rock Studios

I think one of the more interesting developments occurring in my town lately is the big push to build a movie studio in South Plymouth. Apparently they want to make the studio the largest on this side of the Mississippi. I'm not really sure how this would work or how it would affect the town but it should be interesting going forward.

They named the push Project: Julia, as in Julia Roberts. The hope is to eventually draw in actors on her level. My only issue is that its being principally financed by Good News Holdings which makes "faith based entertainment films." I'm not sure if you've seen any of those lately but Roberts' "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" was not primarily lifted from Leviticus.

Methinks that your Plymouth A-List consists of Kirk Cameron and Kirk Cameron...

This new studio project is great for people around here who do not want to move out to the west coast. One of my friends graduated last year from BSC and was looking for work over on the west coast, but found work here working on that movie "21" and most recently the sequel to the Pink Panther. He is pumped because he can stick around here with his friends / family and hopefully work from the Plymouth studio.
